Helping you get unstuck and move forward with clarity and confidence
Ingrid Erickson, MS, LPC

I’m a therapist and coach based in Denver, where I enjoy making the most of the outdoors—whether that’s skiing, mountain biking, or spending time with my dog, Bentley. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in financial sales, but I found myself increasingly drawn to the deeper questions. That curiosity led me to pursue a path where I could support others in better understanding themselves as a foundation for building clarity, confidence, and lasting change.
With experience in both therapy and corporate coaching, my work is centered around helping people understand how their minds and emotions function, so they can better understand the impact of their patterns and make intentional choices that create real progress towards their goals. I believe true growth happens when change feels natural, sustainable, and aligned with who you are. Whether you're navigating a personal challenge or working toward professional growth, I bring a thoughtful, practical approach to support you along the way.
My approach to working with anxiety is both collaborative and integrative, combining cognitive-behavioral strategies with mindfulness-based somatic techniques, all grounded in a person-centered philosophy.
I focus on helping clients understand how anxiety functions in the brain—what drives it, how it shows up, and why it persists—while also supporting them in managing the physical symptoms that arise in day-to-day life.
I offer education and tools, but also listen closely, knowing that each person is the expert on their own experience.
Together, we identify what truly works for you, allowing your mind and body to gather the information needed to gradually shift your response to anxiety in a sustainable and meaningful way.

Starting therapy can sometimes feel unclear—you might not be sure what to expect or how the process works—so I aim to make the process as clear and comfortable as possible.
Free 15-Minute Phone Consultation: Before scheduling a session, I offer a free 15-minute phone call so we can briefly connect, talk about what you're looking for, and see if it feels like a good fit. You're welcome to ask any questions about my approach, availability, or the therapy process.
First Session: Our first full session is focused on getting to know each other. We’ll explore what’s bringing you in, your goals for therapy, and any relevant background. I’ll also share more about how I work so you can feel confident moving forward.
Collaborative Approach: I believe therapy works best as a partnership. I bring tools, education, and strategies—especially around anxiety, how it functions in the brain and body, and how to respond effectively—but you guide the process by sharing what feels helpful or not for you.
Comfort and Clarity: All sessions are held via secure telehealth, allowing you to join from the comfort of your own space. I’ll provide simple instructions for logging in before we begin.
Consistency and Progress: We’ll typically meet weekly or every other week, and I’ll check in regularly to make sure we’re aligned with your goals and that therapy continues to feel useful and relevant.
Insurance & Payment: I accept select insurance plans and will help guide you through verifying coverage and understanding your benefits before your first session.
